Charles Vorster

Charles is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified in South Africa before relocating to Guernsey.

Charles possesses nine years of experience within Guernsey's financial services sector, where he has held senior roles across audit, fund administration, and asset management firms. His expertise includes leading multijurisdictional teams, and he is a dedicated professional with a strong aptitude for financial analysis.

Charles is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Danny Fox

Danny’s entire career has been in the Guernsey financial services industry. He has experience of audit along with fiduciary and investment administration and accounting. His financial reporting experience ranges from stand-alone entities to consolidated reporting for global FTSE listed entities. He has held board positions on regulated Guernsey entities within the private equity sector.

Danny completed his ACCA examinations in 2001 and now holds a practicing licence with the Association of Accounting Technicians.

Cathy Lloyd

Cathy is the Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).

Cathy is a Co-Founder and Director of the Advisory Services Group and has extensive experience in the Finance Industry.

David Brehaut

Senior Administrator

David has over 15 years of experience in financial services. David has worked at Senior Administration level in various Guernsey Fund Administrators focusing on new fund launch administration and the onboarding of new clients for both onshore and offshore (Guernsey) jurisdictions.

David has substantial experience in operational aspects of fund administration covering client due diligence, banking and bookkeeping. David holds a certificate in Fund Administration.

Gillian Newton

Founder and Director

With over 30 years’ experience in the Finance Industry, Gillian has held positions at a senior level in key areas such as Corporate Governance, Company Secretarial, Relationship Management, New Business, Investor Services, Fund of Fund Dealing, Cash Management, Market Settlement, Corporate Actions, Operations and Directorial Services.

Gillian has experience as Director and Chair of a portfolio of Regulated Private Equity Funds and Investment Managers in addition to several unregulated Guernsey and Cypriot SPVs, working with stakeholders to facilitate successful complex restructures, IPO’s and Fund Launches.

Gillian is a Chartered Member of the Institute for Securities and Investment (CMCSI), and a Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors (CDir).

Julian Timms

Founder and Director

Julian has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, initially in audit with the last 18 years focusing on private equity and in particular closed-ended buy-out, fund of funds and listed funds.

Julian is an experienced director on regulated and unregulated companies and holds positions on boards of regulated GPs that have undertaken complex group restructures, IPOs and fund launches and he is also a director and member of the audit committee of a TISE listed company.

Julian is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has also completed the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction (Dip IoD).
